210880 - Assessment 3
Business, Accounting & Economics

The purpose of the assessment is for you to demonstrate your capacity to reflect on your learning experience, connecting theory and practice, by formulating a credible and realistic set of strategic principles for navigating the contradictory demands that leading people and change impose.
Reflecting back on your experience and your learning, you must write a short essay in which you integrate and extend some of the considerations you have made in the reflective diary and in the report, articulating a commitment to realistic individual action-guiding principles and providing concrete examples of how you plan to apply these in your future work practice.
In doing this, you must consider how to balance three key aspects:
1. Commitment to yourselves: how to pursue and reconcile individual career and life objectives, responsibilities and commitments
2. Commitment to others: how managerial choices may affect others, and how to navigate divergent objectives and priorities, avoiding exploitative behaviour
3. Commitment to society: how to pursue economic growth while fostering a fairer workplace and having a positive impact on environmental and social sustainability
