Purpose of this Assessment

This assessment task is designed to assess your knowledge to set up and sustain learning areas. Specifically, your knowledge will be assessed on the following:

Organisational policies and procedures for accessing resources

Different types of customised learning spaces, both physical and virtual

What constitutes a positive and stimulating environment for learning for primary and secondary students

Features, techniques and equipment required to create different learning environments

Resources available for the support of individual or group learning

Learning technologies.

This assessment task contains Short Answer Questions where you need to provide a response in your own words to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the unit. Carefully read through each question and reflect on your learning in this unit, including any additional research you have conducted.

In your own words, define what learning technologies are and give at least two (2) examples of how they can be used in learning spaces.
