Pandu had five sons, of whom Arjuna, the protagonist in the Bhagavad Gita, is the second. Dhritarashtra had one hundred sons, the eldest of whom was Duryodhana. The war is between the sons of Pandu, the Pandavas, and their cousins, the sons of Dhritarashtra, who are called the Kauravas. Duryodhana is the leader of the Kauravas, and Arjuna leads the army of the Pandavas. Yudhishthira, the firstborn of the Pandavas, is the rightful heir to the throne, but Duryodhana conceived several plots to kill his cousins. Sri Krishna – Wisest teacher and best yogi of all time. The two armies are facing one another on the field of Kurukshetra

Yudhishthira, the eldest of the brothers, represents righteousness. Bhima is a symbol of strength undisturbed in all conditions. Arjuna is the greatest of all warriors; he has both inner wisdom and external strength. Nakula is able to attain inner peace. Without such peace and tranquility, one cannot have presence of mind.
